Equipment rental business First Integrated Solutions has opened a new outlet in Dundee.
The Aberdeen-headquartered company which rents equipment to the utilities, chemical, energy and transport sectors opened the depot in the Port of Dundee last month.
It said the new location would allow it to work more closely with Tayside-based clients and grow its presence in the area.
First Integrated supplies lifting, welding, blasting and painting and hydraulic equipment, inspection services, wire rope sling manufacture and consumable supplies for offshore and onshore developments.
Business development director Gary Taylor said: “We have many exciting clients in Dundee, and it is an important base for us to have.”
This expansion also represents another example of listening to our customers and adapting our business to meet their requirements.
“Having a base there will present more opportunities for us to work even closer with our clients, an important factor when supporting the delivery of clients projects as efficiently and effectively as we can.”

“We have a wide range of complementary businesses now located at the port which is attractive to current and future customers.”
