INDORE: Two days after hand of a trader was chopped off in an act of revenge, a team of MYH doctors joined hand again.
The trader, 21-year-old Farhan Ansari, was taken to MYH late on October 21. Doctors immediately went ahead for a six-hour long complex surgery to join his veins, arteries and nerves again.
Plastic surgeon, Dr Saurabh Gupta said, "It was a complex surgery as we had to fix nerves of hair tip size. But the patient is recovering well and will be discharged in a few days. The patient will have to go through physiotherapy after a month to return to normal movement of his hand."
