INDORE: Officials have been issued detailed instructions to curb the sudden dengue spike in Indore on Saturday when its cases touched the double-digit mark for the first time this year.
In a meeting, collector Manish Singh instructed officials to ensure fogging, conduct anti-larvae survey and availability of insecticides through a written letter specifying responsibility for these works to field workers. The collector also instructed officials to inform people about the disease and its prevention through different activities, including putting up pamphlets to check its spread.
On Saturday, the district reported ten cases of dengue, taking the total tally to 122. The areas with new cases are New Gori Nagar, Metropolis, Khajrana, Clerk Colony, Rajendra Nagar, Scheme 78, Scheme 134, Sai City, and Old Palasia.
