INDORE: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Rau area, the police said on Monday. Officials said that the girl worked at a house in Ram Raheem Colony as domestic help and its owner allegedly raped her.
The accused was identified as Bhurelal Katare, a resident of Ram Raheem Colony of Rau. On February 18, the girl was working at the accused’s home when he caught her and took her to a room in the courtyard area of the house where he allegedly raped her. The accused allegedly threatened to kill thegirl’s brother and sister-in-law. A case has been registered under sections of IPC and POCSO Act.
