Indore: Last two accused get bail in honeytrap case

INDORE: Indore bench of MP high court has granted bail to two more accused in honeytrap case registered at Palasia police station on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each.

Justice Subodh Abhyankar without commenting on the merits of the case granted bail to Aarti Dayal and Abhishek Singh during hearing of bail applications in the fraud, extortion, human trafficking case.

The accused along with Shweta Vijay Jain will remain in prison in connection with a human trafficking and criminal conspiracy cases registered against them in Bhopal.

The accused were arrested for allegedly blackmailing the then IMC superintending engineer Harbhajan Singh with intimate videos and demanding Rs 3 crore and favours in getting work done in government corridors on his complaint in September 2019.

Palasia police charged them under 17 sections including 15 of Indian Penal Code in relation to these crimes and IT Act, 2000 along with Shweta Vijay Jain, Shweta Swapnil Jain, Barkha Soni, driver Omprakash and one other female.
