INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya’s (DAVV) new academic session is most likely to be delayed.
The varsity is set to conduct counselling for undergraduate and postgraduate courses separately as National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting separate exams for the courses.
“The entrance examination for the undergraduate courses is most likely to be conducted in the second or third week of July. The entrance exam for postgraduate courses will be conducted thereafter,” DAVV’s CUET coordinator Dr KL Ahuja told TOI.
The counselling will be conducted over a week after the registration process is done for counselling, he added.
The varsity hasn’t yet decided the registration fees for the candidates. However, there will be a separate round of registration.
Candidates will again have to register separately after the results are declared via MP Online.
Considering that the results will be declared by the agency in less than a fortnight from the date of exam, the window will open at least for a week to over a fortnight for the candidates to register. The counselling process for the UG candidates will begin from August second or third week which will continue for a fortnight.
The counselling process for postgraduate courses is most likely to begin from last week of August onwards.
The admission process will continue till September month.
The online registration window for the 23 undergraduate courses of 14 UTD has already surpassed the mark of over 72000 registrations from across the state.
Under CUET, there will be 32 examination centres in different districts of Madhya Pradesh and there are 532 examination centre across the country.
