Indore: 4 more who returned from abroad test Covid positive

INDORE: At least four persons travelling back to Indore from outside the country tested positive for Covid-19 in 36 hours till Friday night.

With this, the district now has six positive cases among people travelling back to Indore from foreign soil.

The four persons include a 23-year-female, who returned from United Kingdom on Dec 14, a 21-year-old male, who returned from US on December 14, a 25-year-old male, who returned from UAE on December 13 and a 23-year-male from UAE on December 15 tested positive.

These people are residents of Palasia, Radio Colony, Rani bagh, and Rajendra Nagar. CMHO Dr Saitya said, "Four more persons, taking tally to six, travelled back to Indore and tested positive."

In the districts, around 2100 passengers returned to Indore from foreign countries in the last one month. Of those 600 persons are untraceable, and over 1200 have been sampled.

Madhya Pradesh detected with this 9 positive cases with history of international travel. Earlier two were reported in Bhopal, when one person returned from the UK and Canada tested positive around a couple of days back.
