Indonesia reports 2,897 new coronavirus infections, 81 deaths

Indonesia reported 2,897 new coronavirus infections on Friday, taking the total number to 406,945, data from the country's COVID-19 task force showed.

The data also showed 81 additional deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities to 13,782.

Indonesia has recorded the most cases and deaths from COVID-19 in Southeast Asia.
