Indians reinstate Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac, option them to alternate site

Indians starting pitchers Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac are off the restricted list but not yet back with the team.

Clevinger and Plesac, who broke team protocol in Chicago and were told to self quarantine for 72 hours, were removed from the restricted list on Friday, though both were then optioned to the team's alternate site in Eastlake.

The Indians, upon placing them both on the restricted list on Tuesday, reinstated outfielder Tyler Naquin from the injured list and recalled left-handed pitcher Logan Allen. Clevinger and Plesac wouldn't be needed on the major league side until their next scheduled start.
