An Indiana man has been charged with soliciting a minor after he was caught trying to meet up with a 14-year-old girl in South Shore.
Mitchell Mace, 53, was charged with felony counts of traveling to meet a minor and indecent solicitation, Chicago police said.

He was taken into custody after responding to an online advertisement about 11:10 a.m. Friday in which he made plans to have sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl, police said. When officers saw Mace getting out of his vehicle in the 2500 block of East 71st Street, they arrested him on the spot.
Mace is due in bond court on Saturday.
