An Indian-origin Uber driver has been charged with two counts of sexual assault following an investigation into two alleged incidents involving the same woman near a GO station in Burlington, Canada.

According to the Halton Regional Police Service, the alleged offences took place at about 5.15pm on 16 June in the south parking lot of Burlington GO Station on Fairview Street.
Police alleged that the accused approached an adult woman and began speaking with her before sexually assaulting her. The woman immediately left the area, but investigators said the accused followed her to a nearby business, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted a second time.
The victim did not suffer any physical injuries, police said.
The investigation was led by the Halton Regional Police Service's Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit, which identified the suspect.
Police said Mandeep Singh, 25, of Etobicoke, was arrested on 26 July and charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Singh was working as an Uber driver at the time of the alleged offences. Police said they believe there could be additional victims and have appealed for anyone with information.
