Indian models who shone at London Fashion Week SS 22

With each passing season, the number of Indian-origin models walking for London, Paris, Milan, and New York Fashion Week are increasing, thanks to inclusivity and diversity in fashion. If you have been closely following the recently concluded London Fashion Week SS 22, you would have noticed a lot of Indian faces on the runway. Mumbai-based modelling agency Anima Creative Management, had three of its female models grace the ramp at the London Fashion Week. Here are the Indian models who turned muse to various designers at LFW.

Samruddhi Shirodhkar for Osman Yousefzada SS22

Samruddhi walked for British-born multi-disciplinary artist Osman Yousefzada. His collection title was quite interesting as he named it- What Happened To Last Season's Collection. The designer's focus was to start a conversation around wastage and overproduction of garments in fashion. It was Samruddhi's first at the London Fashion Week and she was quite excited to be a part of the fashion week. As it was my first time, I had so many emotions… nervousness, excitement, mixed feelings. But as I walked the ramp, I was so happy and confident! It was worth all the stress. So I’d say it was all worth it at the end." she quipped.

Aishwarya Gupta for Nensi Dojaka and Maximilian

Model Aishwarya Gupta walked for London-based designer Maximilian Davis at LFW SS22. It was the designer's debut show at London Fashion Week. Aishwarya also sauntered down the runway for Nensi Dojaka. The model enjoyed every moment at this year's London Fashion Week. "It was overwhelming. With loads of compliments and rejections, fashion and modeling are integrals with shows going on forever. Loved every bit of it, ready for the next adventure," she said.

Urvashi Umrao for Kiko Kostadinov and Noon by Noor

It was Urvashi's debut at London Fashion Week and she walked for two designers Kiko Kostadinov and Noon by Noor. Sharing her thoughts, the lissome beauty said, "An interesting experience post-covid, to be able to do a live show again."

Pranav Bhargav for Kaushik Velendra

Among the Indian male models, Pranav Bhargav walked the ramp for Bengaluru-born Indian designer and LVMH Prize semi-finalist Kaushik Velendra. Pranav has already been a part of the Milan Fashion Week and walked for Dolce & Gabbana.
