The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has temporarily restricted its consular, passport and visa services to emergency cases only until Sunday, July 19, citing administrative reasons. During this period, only applicants who can provide documents establishing the urgency of their request will be eligible for services.
The Embassy said applications for normal passports, regular visas and document attestations will not be accepted or processed until the temporary restrictions are lifted.
Emergency services available
The Embassy will continue to provide a limited set of emergency services, including Tatkal passport issuance, NRI certificates, short-validity passports for applicants whose Civil ID is nearing expiry, Emergency Certificates and e-Visas.
