India vs West Indies: Windies include rookie spinner Kevin Sinclair in squad for 2nd Test

The West Indies have revealed their 13-player squad for the second and final Test against India in Trinidad. While most of the squad that lost the first Test in Dominica remains unchanged, spinner Kevin Sinclair has been included in place of all-rounder Raymon Reifer.

Sinclair, a 23-year-old off-spinner, offers West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite an additional bowling option. He has already represented the team in seven ODIs and six T20Is, with his most recent appearance being in the ICC World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe.

Reifer struggled with scores of only 2 and 11 and failed to take any wickets. However, he will still travel with the team to Trinidad.

Hailing from Guyana, Sinclair is known for his distinctive celebratory flips after taking wickets. If selected to make his Test debut in Trinidad, the right-arm spinner is likely to work in tandem with fellow spinner Rahkeem Cornwall.

After a disappointing defeat by an innings and 141 runs in their first match of the new ICC World Test Championship cycle, the West Indies are eager to bounce back and level the series when the second and final Test begins at Queen's Park Oval on Thursday.

West Indies squad for second Test against India: Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Jermaine Blackwood (vc), Alick Athanaze, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Rahkeem Cornwall, Joshua Da Silva, Shannon Gabriel, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Kirk McKenzie, Kemar Roach, Kevin Sinclair, Jomel Warrican
