NEW DELHI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced their plan for the sale of tickets for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, set to commence in Ahmedabad on October 5.
India's opening match against Australia is scheduled for October 8 in Chennai, and their highly anticipated clash against traditional rivals Pakistan is slated for October 14 in Ahmedabad. However, fans will not have immediate access to tickets for all matches.
The ticket sale process will be organised in a phased manner. While ticket registration has already commenced, the actual purchase of tickets will only be possible starting from August 25.
On this date, tickets for warm-up matches not involving India and all matches excluding those involving India will become available for distribution.

For the semi-final and final matches of the tournament, ticket sales are set to commence from September 15.
Prior to the commencement of ticket sales, fans will be granted the chance to express their interest by registering at https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register, beginning on August 15.
This early registration will grant them the advantage of receiving ticket updates ahead of others, facilitating the reservation of their place at the World Cup. This initiative ensures that they can revel in the exhilaration of witnessing a day of cricketing excellence firsthand.
