India vs England: Celebration style a message to my haters, says Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj, who excelled with four wickets on day three of the second Test against England at Lord's, told the media after the day's play that his celebration style after taking a wicket, (finger on the lips) was his way of silencing all his haters.

SCORECARD

"A lot of people say a lot of things about me. This is my way of silencing them, " he told a virtual media conference after the end of Day 3.

Siraj, who used the Lord's slope to his advantage to get the inward movement, said he sought the advice of Virat about dealing with the slope.

"He told me which angles will suit my style, " said Siraj.

England, who are 27 runs ahead in the first innings, benefited from a flattening pitch on a sunny day. Siraj said the team will try their best to score as many runs as possible in the second innings.

"The wicket now is very flat and good for batting. We will try and give them a big target."
