NEW DELHI: India on Monday reported 6,531 new Coronavirus cases and 315 deaths. With this rise in cases, the total active cases in the country has reached 75,841. The country saw 578 fresh Omicron cases in the last 24 hours.
The active cases account for less than 1 per cent of the total Covid cases and are at the lowest since March 2020.
The country also reported 7,141 recoveries in the last 24 hours, which has taken the total recoveries to 3,42,37,495. The recovery rate is currently at 98.40 per cent.
The daily positivity rate stands at 0.87 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is at 0.63 per cent.
The country has so far conducted 67.29 crore Covid tests.
