NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday reported 11,903 fresh Covid cases and 311 deaths.
The country reported 14,159 recoveries in the last 24 hours which takes the recovery rate to 98.22 per cent. This is the highest since March 2020. The total number of people who have recovered from Coronavirus in the country has reached 3,36,97,740.
India's active caseload now stands at 1,51,209, which is the lowest reported in the past 252 days. The active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases.
The daily positivity rate has been less than 2 per cent for last 30 days, while the weekly positivity rate stands at 1.18 per cent.
India has conducted 61.12 crore Covid tests and administered 107.29 crore vaccine doses.
