The Palestine ambassador to India, Abdullah Abu Shawesh, Wednesday also backed India's bid for a non-permanent UNSC membership for 2028-29.

"When we used to talk about the reform of UN at large and Security Council in particular, one of our appeals as a Southern country was to have India at least be one of the countries to have a permanent seat on the Council," said Shawesh, addressing reporters here.

Among key takeaways from the visit to Palestine by MEA secretary Sripriya Ranganathan was the signing of an MoU to establish a technical and vocational education and training centre within Palestinian National Printing Press, providing training in the printing sector. tnn
