India has demonstrated a multi-layered defence capability against long-range ballistic missiles and anti-ship threats after the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted three consecutive flight tests, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday.
According to the minister, the tests showcased the country's ability to intercept ballistic missile threats and demonstrated anti-ship defence capability at medium range.
"The interceptors successfully engaged their respective targets. The systems are designed and developed with the latest technologies to address the emerging missile threats," Singh said in a post on X.
