India's second-largest English-language paper, the Hindustan Times, is to launch a daily business paper which will include content from the Wall Street Journal. Rajiv Verma, ceo of the Hindustan Times company, says both the paper launch and the partnership with the WSJ, illustrate that "India has become a global player in myriad industries." Though the exact details of content-sharing agreement are still being worked out, it will involve "branded sections" and could mean the use of a WSJ masthead. (Via domain-b.com)
