Before it was a five-star hotel, the historic hall, which was was built in the mid-19th century on the land of a Scottish lord, served as a hospital during the First World War. Today, Mar Hall offers guests the chance to unwind in stately rooms, practise shooting or tee off on the championship golf course.

The hotel offers some exceptional dining and drinking experiences, from inventive cocktails in the Sláinte bar, to refined Scottish dishes in The Dining Room and relaxed meals at The Clubhouse.

Afternoon teas are served in The Gallery, comprising of towers of delicate pastries, scones and savouries, accompanied by teapots and a glass of bubbly.
