Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday invoked a new framework of seven “streams of strength”, or ‘Sapta Dhara’, that he said would help India accelerate its journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat.
The seven areas identified by the Prime Minister are manufacturing, farming, technology, Gati Shakti, defence, the green economy and soft power.
Addressing the nation from the Red Fort on India’s 80th Independence Day, Modi said India needed a new current of growth to achieve what had remained unfinished over the previous decades.
