Police have launched an investigation after a man and woman engaged in an indecent sex act on the platform at Paisley Gilmour
Officers are appealing for information after the act was performed in front of a member of the public on platform of the station on the afternoon of Friday, June 25.
British Transport Police are treating the incident as an 'outraging public decency offence' and have issued descriptions of the couple involved.
The man is described as of slim build, with blue eyes and star tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a black Under Armour cap, with a black hoody, trousers and trainers.
The woman is described as of slim build, wearing a black cap with a pink jacket, black leggings and white trainers.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A statement released by British Transport Police this morning advised: "Officers investigating an outraging public decency offence at Paisley Gilmour Street station are today appealing for further information.
"At 4pm on Friday 25 June it was reported a man and woman engaged in an indecent sexual act in front of a member of public on platform 4 at the station.
"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to help with their investigation.
"Witnesses or anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 395 of 25/06/21.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
