Married At First Sight 2026 bride Stella Mickunaite has finally confirmed speculation that she and Filip Gregov have ended their relationship, claiming in a statement that he dumped her over the phone eight months after getting engaged on the reality show.
After fans noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram and reports emerged that they had split, Stella shared a lengthy statement to her Instagram Story on Tuesday afternoon revealing they were no longer together.
“I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I feel it’s important to share my truth,” she began.
“Filip ended our relationship. While he had clearly been processing that decision for some time, I genuinely believed we were working towards the same future. I was completely blindsided.”

The Lithuanian-born beauty therapist explained that, despite the couple discussing a move to Sydney on MAFS, she had ultimately decided to relocate to Melbourne as it “made the most sense” to be close to Filip’s family and build a life together in a “more affordable place”.
She said she needed a few months to “wrap things up, end leases and put everything in place” before making the move, but she was excited by the prospect of starting a family with Filip.
“I genuinely thought we were making those decisions together. Instead, I received a phone call ending our relationship,” she claimed.
“I am heartbroken, deeply saddened and, if I’m honest, incredibly embarrassed that something I believed in so wholeheartedly didn’t work out the way I had hoped. While I respect that everyone has the right to choose what’s best for them, I also feel it’s important that the facts are clear.”
Stella went on to thank everyone who has shown her kindness and support during this tough time, adding that it has “meant more than you’ll ever know”.
Filip says he wishes Stella ‘all the best’
Filip has yet to respond to Stella’s claims, although he did tell PEDESTRIAN.TV on Monday that he wishes her “all the best in the future”.
The pair had both shared cryptic statements on social media hinting at a potential split earlier in the week, with Stella writing in one caption that she “made mistakes” and has “regrets”.
Stella and Filip were last photographed together in May, although they featured on each other’s Instagram profiles earlier this month. The couple also launched a podcast together titled Love, Life and Lie Detectors with communications specialist Scott Taylor in May, posting just four episodes before going on hiatus at the end of June.
Stella and Filip’s split comes just over a month after 2025 MAFS couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels announced their breakup, which leaves just four couples still together across the show’s 13 seasons. The new season is expected to begin filming in the next few weeks, so fingers crossed the 2027 cast have more luck at finding love.
