Incredible way to see Merseyside like you've never seen it before

Merseyside has some of the best views around, from our beautiful architecture to our rolling green spaces.

We have more than enough stunning places to explore, but for those looking for a new way to see Liverpool and beyond , geocaching could be the perfect way to do so.

Geocaching, an outdoor activity which allows participants to hide and seek ‘treasure’, is an ideal way to see Merseyside like never before.

Find out what's on in your area:

The simple app allows you to discover hidden treasures in your local area, whether it's in a park or on the high street.

Users can choose to hide small treasures, which are often in little containers with a note and possibly a keepsake, or they can choose to simply be on the hunt for them.

To take part, all you need to do is download the Geocaching app via the App Store or Google Play, create an account and use the app to navigate towards a nearby geocache.

Once you've found your treasure, you can add something to the geocache, log your experience in the app, and pop the container back where you found it.
