Sergio Reguilon's latest social media post has been met with a big reaction from the Tottenham Hotspur fans.
The 23-year-old left-back has already made a big impression on the Spurs faithful with his performances against Chelsea and Manchester United.
Reguilon was snapped up in a double deal from Real Madrid along with the returning Gareth Bale.
Now the full-back has referenced that friendship with the Welshman and their shared journey in his latest social media post, which he tweeted and posted in his Instagram Story.
Reguilon once called Bale his "idol" and he got a photo taken as a youngster with the world class winger.
Now he has hopped on the 'how it started, how it's going' trend which has seen people posting photos from their youth with more current images.
In his tweet below, Reguilon included that snap of him as a youngster with Bale and then one of the photos of the two of them emerging from the tunnel in their first visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after signing.
"Incredible", "What a tweet", "Love you already" and "Serg you are spurs through & through COYS!!!!" were just some of the many, many responses from Spurs fans.
Reguilon picked up a knock in Spain's international friendly against Portugal but fortunately for Spurs and Jose Mourinho it was only minor.
He was an unused substitute in his country's victory over Switzerland and could play a part in Tuesday night's game away against Ukraine.
football.london understands that Real Madrid have a buy-back clause in the deal for Reguilon which means they can re-sign him in the summer of 2021 or 2022 if the player agrees to the return.
