Incredible timelapse footage of the Waxing Gibbous moon setting over Glasgow

Stunning timelapse footage has been released from our photographer who captured the Waxing Gibbous moon over Glasgow.

The incredible photograph taken by Reach Scotland's Alasdair MacLeod shows the giant orange moon over St Vincent Street in the city centre.

The Duke of Wellington statue has been spotted dressed up as Lewis Capaldi

Since being captured by Alasdair, the picture has been shared countless times.

And now the talented photographer has shared a timelapse video of the moon on the horizon.

A Waxing Gibbous moon means it is larger than normal, but not the same size as a complete full moon.

We think this short video is stunning!
