Incredible shots show massive pod of 60 dolphins swimming around Dooagh Bay

These incredible shots show a massive pod of 60 dolphins swimming around an Irish bay... with not a hint of social distancing in sight.

Sean Molloy, 50, said he had seen the dolphins in the area for a few days and was determined to get them on camera.

Last Sunday, he could see them swimming in the bay near his home in Co Mayo.

He quickly got his drone and followed the pod as they swam to the nearby Dooagh Bay, and launched quickly enough to capture the whole group.

Sean, a professional drone pilot, said: “They’ve been there for a few days so I was expecting them. I thought I’d go out with a drone to get them on film.

“It was only about a kilometre from my house and I could see them from there.

“There were three different pods, in one I counted 26 dolphins. I’d say there was about 60 in total.”
