Incredible radio call as Louisville shocks UCF on pick-six in final seconds

UCF and Louisville played a see-saw game on Friday night. The finish has to be seen to be believed.

The Cardinals were home and they were on defense as UFC attempted to drive for a game-winning score after making an interception.

At worse, the Knights were looking at overtime, right?

Wrong.

Dillon Gabriel dropped back to throw with less than 25 seconds to go in the fourth quarter and the game tied at 35.

At worse, the Knights were looking at overtime, right?

Wrong.

Watch as Jaylin Alderman picks off the pass and returns it 66 yards for a pick-six.

There were 12 seconds left on the clock and after the PAT Louisville had a 42-35 lead and minutes later a stunning victory.

How about the home team radio call from Paul Rogers?

Coach Scott Satterfield weighed in splendidly:

The game-winning play came after the Knights intercepted Louisville’s Malik Cunningham off a deflection on the previous play for possession at the Cardinals’ 41.

Alderman picked off a tip of Gabriel’s pass, then found room down the right sideline.

There were 11 touchdowns and more than 900 yards of offense in the wild Friday night contest.
