Incredible mural appears in Leith to pay respect to the NHS during coronavirus pandemic

A colorful street mural has been brightening up the day of Leith locals.

The mesmerising piece of street art pays tribute to 'the strength of Scotland' and the NHS during this tough time.

The circular mural features two rainbow unicorns in a nod to Scotland's national animal.

A Toronto based artist named Victor is responsible for the masterpiece, which has received a positive reaction from Leith locals.

The heart-warming mural aims to lift the spirits of Leith locals with the words: "Scotland, together, persevere, NHS."

Outside the mural, the words "with respect and gratitude to NHS' are written in white paint.

The mural was shared on a Leith community Facebook page where over a thousand locals show their appreciation for it.
