Tommy Norton won the incredible sum of money after taking part in Heart's Make Me A Millionaire contest, which has been running for 11 weeks.
Presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston made the announcement live on air as Tommy was sat parked at the side of the road in his van, the Mirror Online reports.

According to the radio station, the prize money is the largest sum that has ever been given away on UK radio.
Tommy said that the prize money was going to make a "massive" difference to his life and his girlfriend's life.
After he won, he tried to ring his girlfriend, who is a hospital worker.
The Heart's Make Me A Millionaire contest saw listeners taking part in a daily competition over 11 weeks, which could have got them a place in Thursday's final prize draw.
Participants were given the opportunity of walking away with a prize ranging between £1,000 and £30,000 or going into the final draw for £1m.
In Thursday's programme, the ten contestants had to pick a number between one and 10, with nine of the numbers corresponding to a £1,000 prize while one contestant won £1m.
Social media was flooded with listeners congratulating Tommy on his win.
One listener wrote on Twitter: "Rock on Tommy.. nice one go & treat yourself mate.. keyworker."
