Police are 'becoming increasingly concerned' for the welfare of a schoolboy missing from Edinburgh.
Alex Thomas was last seen in the Moredun area in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers are appealing directly to the 15-year-old to get in touch.
Anyone with information on Alex' whereabouts, or those who think they might have seen are also urged to come forward.
There are no details on what the teenager was wearing when last seen.
Sergeant Jen Macgregor said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alex and ask him to make contact.
"Our Officers are carrying out enquiries in a bid to trace him and I am now looking for assistance from the public.
"If you believe you have seen Alex or have any information on his whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0585 of July 7."
