Increasing concern for girl, 15, missing from home

Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' as a teenager remains missing in Merseyside.

Georgia Mitchell, from Bootle, went missing from her home last week.

The 15-year-old was last spotted on Quigley Avenue in Bootle on Saturday, October 2.

Officers have shared an image of the teenager in the hopes of members of the public passing on information about any sightings.

Georgia is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of medium build with dark brown shoulder length hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a jacket with blue denim jeans and black slip-on trainers.

She is known to spend time around Sefton, Bootle and Netherton.

A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Please share and help us find a 15-year-old girl from Bootle who is missing from home.

"Georgia Mitchell was last seen on Quigley Avenue in Bootle on Saturday 2 October.

"She is described as a white female, 5ft 5in tall of medium build with dark brown shoulder length hair.

"Georgia was last seen wearing a jacket with blue denim jeans and black slip-on trainers.

"She is known to frequent the Sefton area including Bootle and Netherton.

"We are increasingly concerned about Georgia’s whereabouts. Please pass on any sightings of her via: https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/ or any other information to the Missing person unit on 0151 777 3600, @MerPolCC, contact 101 or the charity Missing People on 116 000."
