Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has detailed the impact that Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has had on his career.
The Argentine is widely-regarded to be one of the finest managers in world football and is hailed for his influence with the likes of Chile, Athletic Bilbao and Newell's Old Boys.
Guardiola knows Bielsa well and has discussed his impact on his career, praising the Leeds boss for taking time to discuss football with him when he was an 'absolute nobody' in the world of football management.
“Few teams in the world play the way Marcelo plays. They are in always aggressive, they are always on the move, they attack with a lot of people, they defend with a lot of people," he told Sky Sport's Bielsa: El Loco and Leeds documentary.
"The commitment of players they have. I think he is the most well-prepared manager I’ve ever seen in my life. The work ethic is incomparable. I know how people love him in Bilbao.
"He’s a legend, an icon, in Chile. I don’t think we can deny how enjoyable Leeds games have been for the Leeds fans. People cannot forget it.
“I would never forget how gentle, how kind he was with me, when I was absolutely nobody in the world of football in terms of manager, and how he shared his knowledge. We would talk about football, but not just football, about life and the cinema because my friend worked in the cinema. It was nice.
“Give him one of the four or five best teams in England, or give him Barcelona or Madrid. I won a lot of titles because I was at the big clubs. In the end, there is a price more important than just the titles. Titles are just a number.
"Would you give belief to the players you work with? There’s not one player, or not one team, that cannot admit that they were better players. That’s the best trophy you can get as a manager.
“You go home, and you get a phone call, a message, and you feel that you give something special for them. That is the best title. Better than the Premier League, the Champions League, or whatever. I think Marcelo has that more than any manager in the world."
