Income Tax sleuths search 15 Zee Group properties

The Income Tax Department is conducting “search and survey” at 15 properties of the Zee Group, the Indian Express reported.

Income Tax Department conducting searches at the offices of Zee Group. Around 15 premises of Zee Group being searched by the tax sleuths on allegations of tax evasion. Based on the input from GST intelligence unit, IT Dept probing alleged tax evasion.

The searches are being conducted on the basis of alleged tax evasion data submitted to the tax sleuths by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence.
