An incident on a Scots railway line has sparked an emergency response this morning.
Crews raced to the scene between Shotts and West Calder after the alarm was raised shortly before 7.30am on Saturday, June 26.
The nature of the incident is not yet known but services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh have been revised.
Tickets are being accepted between Edinburgh and Wester Hailes with Lothian buses.
Scotrail said on Twitter: "We have emergency services dealing with an incident between Shotts and West Calder."
"Services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh will be revised, we'll keep you updated."
They later added: "UPDATE: Ticket acceptance activated between Edinburgh and Wester Hailes with Lothian buses."
British Transport Police have been approached for a comment.
