Inbetweeners star James Buckley thinks world is shaped 'like bowl of porridge'

The Inbetweeners star James Buckley has revealed his very bizarre belief about the world.

The actor, 31, thinks the world is shaped "like a bowl of porridge" after meeting with a so-called 'Flat Eather'.

James, who played fibber Jay Cartwright in the E4 series, had thought the earth might be flat and then decided it must be round, but is now "looking into" other theories.

Flat Earthers believe that the world is shaped like a plane or a disk and the idea that it's round is a government conspiracy theory .

But James is on the fence, telling The Sun : "First of all I thought it was round, then I was told it was flat.

“Then when I started thinking it was flat it’s now round again.

"So I’m looking into the theory that Earth is actually lumpy and bumpy.

“I imagine it to be as if a bowl of porridge had a gravitational pull."

A new trailer has revealed a glimpse of Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris as presenters of the new series of Top Gear

Freddie insists there is “evidence to suggest the world isn’t round”.

He said: "If you’re in a helicopter and you hover why does the Earth not come to you if it’s round?

“Why, if we’re hurtling through space, why would water stay still? Why is it not wobbling? Also if you fire a laser about 16 miles, if the world was curved, you shouldn’t be able to see it but you can.”
