Emmerdale villagers might soon have a 'fwiend' as an Inbetweeners star reportedly his eye on a role in the ITV soap.
Apparently, James Buckley, 34, who played Jay Cartwright in the legendary coming-of-age sitcom is a major fan of Emmerdale.
We know this through his showbiz pal Danny Dyer - who is of course an EastEnders regular.

Danny was asked whether he could convince James to join him in Albert Square but it would appear the comic star would prefer the rural charms of Yorkshire.
Danny, who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders, confessed: “He’s an Emmerdale nut, loves a tractor. He doesn’t watch EastEnders.”
So, could we soon see James Buckley pop up in Emmerdale? We’ll have to see what develops in the coming months.
