The creators of the The Inbetweeners TV series and two hit spin-off movies are to launch a new TV production company called Fudge Park.

Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, co-writers and executive producers of the hit E4 comedy show, have left Bwark, the production company they set up in 2004 and sold to Zodiak Media Group in 2011.

Fudge Park, which has already secured TV commissions from the BBC and Channel 4, also has a distribution and development deal in place with BBC Worldwide which will handle global sales of its TV shows.

“We’re very sad to have left Bwark behind us, but we’re incredibly excited about our future,” said Morris and Beesley. “We look forward to announcing our commissions shortly which will give you a real flavour of the projects you can expect from Fudge Park.”

Fudge Park has been co-founded along with former Bwark executives Simon Wilson, Phil Gilbert, Mark Lesbirel and Leo Martin.

Wilson was formerly Bwark’s creative director, Lesbirel was managing director when Zodiak acquired the company, Martin was head of production and Gilbert was a producer.

“With the formation of our new company Fudge Park we’re pleased to be expanding our creative output with the help of our new partners,” said Morris and Beesley.
