The Chiefs remain ravaged by injuries, having already ruled out five players on Wednesday. Despite practicing all week and seeming to have a chance to play in this game, Watkins will miss his third straight game.
In some positive news, cornerback Bashaud Breeland will play after being listed as questionable with a non-football designation. With Kendall Fuller out, that will be a big plus considering how things Kansas City is at CB.
For the Broncos, they will be down two starters in CB Bryce Callahan and RT Ja’Wuan James. Those aren’t huge losses by any means, but every little bit helps right now for the struggling Chiefs.
