With the news that both Glen McGrath and Brett Lee are fit to play in today's third test, you might be forgiven for thinking that Australians the world over are rubbing their hands together at the thought of total English obliteration.
We're not.
In fact, there is growing recognition that if we - and I write as an Australian - want the game that is played on every suburban street across Australia to remain relevant internationally it needs a credible opposition. If cricket is to have any chance of competing with the dominance of football in the UK, the English team needs to start winning.
That is why we've decided to lend you Rodney Marsh, a former Australian wicketkeeper, to set up an Australian-style cricket academy. Now that you're playing like us, you're in with a chance.
