In pictures: you can rent the stunning property from The Nest - complete with private beach

BBC One's latest Scottish drama The Nest has had viewers gripped with its storytelling and star-studded cast.

Line of Duty's Martin Compston and Peaky Blinders' Sophie Rundle take the lead role of married couple Dan and Emily, who are in a desperate bid to find a surrogate.

However the real star of the five-part series is the wealthy couple's serene loch-side home boasting panoramic views of the Scottish coast.

Well you're in for a treat as the five bedroom home is actually a luxury holiday let.

The modern property, named Cape Cove, comes with its own private beach on Loch Long in picturesque Argyll, a two-hour drive from Edinburgh.

Act quickly and you could be lucky enough to soak up the remarkable views there once lockdown is over - but you'd need around £3,000 to spare.

Prices vary depending on the time of year but it can range from between £291 per night to £516 per night, or £2,037 to £3,612 per week.

A description on the letting website states: "A spectacular setting, superb style and stunning views come together to create this exquisite waterside home.

"Boasting panoramic views from the welcoming living space, put your feet up and watch the world go by or enjoy a tipple at the table as the sun sets.

"Whet your appetite then wet your toes in the hot tub or stroll down to your private beach for an evening on the rocks. Before unwinding in this magnificent home, spend days adventuring local Helensburgh, swimming in Loch Long and hunting down exciting walking trails.

"For a magical escape shared with friends and family, look no further than this majestic abode."

According to  Cottages & Castles, Cape Cove is booked up for the rest of the year, so you'll have to act fast if you want to stay here in 2021.

The five-part series of The Nest is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
