In pictures: New-look Tottenham train with new signings in South Korea

Antonio Conte was eager to ensure Tottenham conducted the bulk of their transfer business before the club’s pre-season trip to South Korea.

And while the club are still chasing a move for Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence, the Italian must surely be delighted with the manner in which Spurs have strengthened their squad this summer.

Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster were all part of the traveling party to have arrived in Asia on Saturday, with the quartet training alongside the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Hugo Lloris.

Clement Lenglet has also joined on loan from Barcelona, though was not able to join due to not getting a Visa in time.

Heading into their first full season under Conte’s watch, Spurs look in a strong position to challenge.

The Italian has constantly spoken about needing to raise the team’s level after a difficult period following two Premier League title challengers and reaching the Champions League final during the Mauricio Pochettino era and, having taken points off both Liverpool and Manchester City last season, everything looks geared towards a competitive Tottenham team in the upcoming campaign.

Spurs will play an all-stars K League outfit on Wednesday before a meeting with Sevilla three days later.
