Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes is getting set to take charge of his second match with the Rugby Park side.
It's another trip on the road as the Ayrshire men head to Glasgow to do battle at Firhill and McInnes is aiming to keep his 100 per cent record in tact.
A win live in front of the BBC cameras will send Killie top of the Scottish Championship.
Ahead of the clash, McInnes said: “Our home form and results against the teams around us has to improve. That is a given.
“To win promotion or win the title you need to have those factors better than they are currently. This is an opportunity for us on Friday although thistle will see it exactly the same way.
“When you play against the team near you then it feels like more than just three points. You can do a bit of damage to those closest to you.”
