In pictures: Hundreds of students flock to Leopardstown for the SPIN 1038 Student Raceday

Thousands of students flocked to Leopardstown racecourse today for the SPIN 1038 Student Raceday.

The annual event proved popular as ever with young racegoers who get dressed up for a day at the races.

There was plenty of gambling, drinking and dancing as the students braved the rain at the Dublin venue. 

And the music kept going after the last with the band "Riff Shop" blasting out some tunes before the party continued in the city centre.
