In pictures as rain fails to dampen spirits of festivalgoers at TRNSMT 2026

FESTIVAL-GOERS are sporting their Scotland tops and wellies as TRNSMT 2026 officially kicks off in the city.

The drizzly weather doesn't seem to be dampening the spirits of crowds entering Glasgow Green this afternoon as the three-day event gets underway.

The festival kicked off with Cammy Barnes taking to the Main Stage at 12.30pm, as revellers carrying Scotland flags packed into the park.

With a packed schedule including Becky Hill, Dylan John Thomas and Wolf Alice, the party spirit has hit the city.

In addition, a fan zone with be a TRNSMT first at the festival with the event screening the Scotland v Morocco match as it kicks off at 11pm.

Richard Ashcroft will take to the Main Stage at 8.45pm as the first headliner of the three day long event with Kasabian to follow on Saturday and Lewis Capaldi to close the festival on Sunday.
