In pics: Deepika Padukone romances Vin Diesel in xXx

Deepika Padukone looked like a sultry action goddess in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage selfies, videos and set pictures that found their way to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. But other than the fact that her name is Serena in the film and she has a way with knives, we knew precious little about her role.

We can end the mystery right here and reveal that Deepika will play Vin Diesel’s romantic interest in the film. The Bajirao Mastani star, who returned to India on Friday, took to Instagram to share the latest xXx picture with Diesel. The picture shows the stars in an intimate pose and we love the sizzling chemistry between the duo.

The movie is currently being shot in Toronto and the Dominican Republic and also stars Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Donnie Yen, Conor McGregor, Deepika Padukone and Tony Jaa.

Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is also starring in the film as Diesel’s love interest. She reportedly has a small role in the film.

Produced by Revolution Studios, Roth Kirschenbaum Films and Diesel’s One Race Film, is directed by DJ Caruso and is slated to release on January 20 next year.
