MANILA, Philippines – The White Wolf cometh!
Actor Henry Cavill is in Manila to promote Netflix’s upcoming high fantasy series, The Witcher, together with showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
Cavill, also known for playing Superman in several DC Comics movies, is set to play Geralt of Rivia in this adaptation of the eponymous book series.
It has also been adapted into a critically-acclaimed video game series of the same name.
A throng of Filipino fans gathered at the activity center of Ayala Malls Manila Bay on December 12, Thursday afternoon. There, Cavill and Hissrich tirelessly signed posters and various items. They even took selfies with a lucky few.

Speaking to the crowd about this new show, he said, “We have worked so hard in creating this show, keeping it faithful, and making it something which is hopefully going to entertain you for years and years to come.”
"So December 20th, please enjoy because we loved working on this and we hope you’d love it as much as we do," he added.
