Chaos erupted at a Walmart packed with shoppers seeking school supplies on Saturday morning, as police responded to reports of an active shooter at the store and at a nearby shopping mall in El Paso, Texas.
The latest: Gov. Greg Abbott said at a press conference Saturday 26 people were injured in the shooting. A white man, identified as 21-year-old Patrick Crusius from the Dallas area, was arrested without incident, AP reports.
